Pemanfaatan energi dari gelombang laut

Negeri kita adalah negeri maritime dimana tiap daerahnya dipisahkan oleh laut yang luas membentang. Namun karena hal itu pula, perataan distribusi energi listrik di negeri kita belum maksimal untuk menjangkau di daerah seberang pulau. Sehingga salah satu energi baru terbarukan yang memanfaatkan kondisi geografi negeri kita mulai dikembangkan, salah satunya dengan memanfaatkan gelombang air laut. Gelombang air laut yang digunakan untuk pembangkit energi, salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan kondisi pasang-surutnya air laut. 

A.      Mekanisme pembangkit energi

Gambar di samping menggambarkan perbedaan ketinggian permukaan air dalam kondisi pasang dan surut. Dimana saeperti kita ketahui bahwa gelombang pasang membentuk suatu osilasi gelombang. Untuk itu dengan memanfaatkan goa pinggir laut, udara bertekanan didalamnya akan menggerakkan sistem pembangkit energi. Banyak proyek yang dikembangkan dengan sistem turbin, namun disini akan dijelaskan sistem pembangkit dengan sistem piston yang dihubungkan ke generator.

Didalam goa yang ditampilkan di atas, terdapat udara dengan volume tertentu. Mekanisme penggerak piston adalah dengan memanfaatkan kondisi pasang dan surut, dimana saat pasang, udara di dalam goa akan tertekan oleh tekanan dari fluida (air laut) sehingga piston akan bergerak maju (press) akibat tekanan tinggi udara, dan menekan roda generator untuk berputar maju, dan saat gelombang surut datang, tekanan udara menjadi rendah kembali, piston akan mengendur dan  menggerakkan generator kembali ke semula. Keadan berulang akan menggerakkan roda generator berputar secara diamis dan kontinu. Sehingga menghasilkan listrik.

B.      Rancangan model skala Laborarium

Gambar disamping adalah salah satu model pemanfaatan gelombang air sederhana skala lab. Ini dapat memberikan gambaran pada kita bagaimana sistem gelombang pasang-surut laut akan menggerakkan turbin.

Pada model ini digunakan sebuah kincir sebagai bagian dari sistem turbin yang akan menghasilkan energi dari pergerakan naik dan turunnya permukaan air.

Terdapat bejana yang berlubang di dua sisinya dengan ketinggian lubang berbeda. Lubang lebih bawah dimana tekanna lebih tinggi,terhubung dengan pompa. Sedangkan lubang lebih tinggi terhubung dengan kincir di atasnya. Ini untuk mencegah air masuk ke ke kincir karena ketinggian permukaan air melewati batas. Anatara bejana dan pompa dihubungkan dengan selang air, dimana keadaan pasang surut akan dikendalikan lewat sini. Kondisi pasanga akan dihasilkan dengan menekan pompa sehingga air didalam selang akan terdorong menuju bejana dan permukaan air akan naik, sedangkan kondisi surut akan dihasilkan saat pompa kembali pada keadaan semula (atau ditarik). Jenis pompa yang dapat digunakan yaitu pompa ban sepedakecil yang biasa digunakan dirumah. Kondisi pasang yang dihasilkan dari ketinggian permukaan air tersebut akan menekan udara dalam rongga yang terhubung ke kincir sehingga tekanan udara didalam rongga akan ikut naik, sehingga kincir akan terdorong dan berputar. Dengan kondisi pasanga-surut yang diatur secara kontinu, kincir akan berputar dinamis dan energi listrik akan dihasilkan lewat turbin tersebut. Dan untuk menghitung tegangan listrik yang dihasilkan, pada sistem turbin dapat disambungkan ke multimeter.

                                                                                         

Analisis Fourier

Percobaan Analisa Fourier untuk gelombang ini bertujuan untuk menentukan frekuensi dan amplitudo harmonik dari gelombang kotak dan gelombang gigi gergaji.

Prinsip dari deret fourier ini sendiri adalah menganalisa superposisi dari beberapa gelombang, karena pada dasarnya secara natural tidak ada gelombang yang bersifat single tone. Salah satu contoh aplikasi dari deret fourier adalah pada kasus pemisahan perpaduan beberapa gelombang. Suatu gelombang yang merambat melelui sebuah medium, bukan hanya terdiri dari sebuah gelombang tunggal melainkan perepaduan dari banyak gelombang. Dengan menggunakan analisis fourier, maka perpaduan gelombang tadi dapat dipisah kembali menjadi gelombang penyusunnya. Contohnya pada gelombang Radio FM. Dari percobaan ini pengamatan gelombang output di display pada osiloskop tokugawa.

Pada percobaan digunakan 4 macam mode gelombang yaitu :
1. Band pass gelombang kotak frekuensi rendah
2. Low pass gelombang kotak frekuensi tinggi
3. Band pass gelombang gigi gergaji frekuensi rendah
4. Low pass gelombang gigi gergaji frekuensi tinggi

 Mode band pass adalah saat dimana frekuensi output hanya bergantung dari frekuensi waveform analyzer dan mode Low pass adalah dimana hanya gelombang yang berfrekuensi rendah yang akan ditampikan d layar osiloskop. Sedangkan mode gelombang kotak dan gigi gergaji dapat diatur dari Function Generator. Untuk frekuensi rendah digunakan frekuensi 200-2000 Hz dan frekuensi tinggi berkisar antara 2-20 kHz.

ehemm.. test.. the other next posting I am intend to share about what i had learned at class.. this really what i'm sure I had to do before, cause i'm aware enough that knowledge is not for myself. but it's worth to share after the hard of learning.. according to a function W = F.s. since i am going to join this competition, i'll post the info here..

LOMBA MENGARANG CERPEN ANAK OLEH GURU

Menyambut Hari Ulang Tahun ke-38 Majalah Bobo tanggal 14 April 2011 nanti, Majalah Bobo kembali menyelenggarakan Lomba Mengarang Cerpen Anak oleh Guru. Majalah Bobo berharap, hasil karya Bapak dan Ibu Guru bisa memberikan hiburan, sekaligus panduan nilai moral kepada anak dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tema cerpen bebas. Yang penting ceritanya menarik dan sesuai untuk anak.

Syarat Lomba

1. Lomba ini untuk para guru.
2. Naskah ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar.
3. Naskah harus asli, bukan terjemahan atau saduran, atau mengambil ide dari orang lain yang sudah ada.
4. Naskah belum pernah diterbitkan di media massa (cetak maupun elektronik), dan tidak sedang diikutsertakan dalam lomba lain.
5. Tema bebas, asalkan sesuai untuk anak.

Ketentuan Teknis

1. Setiap peserta boleh mengirimkan lebih dari naskah cerpen.
2. Naskah diketik di kertas berukuran folio dengan jarak 2 (dua) spasi. Panjang tulisan maksimal 3 halaman.
3. Lampirkan di setiap naskah: biografi singkat penulis, surat keterangan dari Kepala Sekolah serta cap sekolah, fotokopi KTP, nomor telepon rumah/hp, nomor rekening bank, dan selembar foto terbaru ukuran kartu pos (3R).
4. Naskah dimasukkan ke dalam amplop. Tuliskan: “Lomba Mengarang Cerpen Anak oleh Guru” di sudut kiri atas amplop.

yuhuuu back again in the end of my holiday!

well, yep, i am back again for not just checkin my blog but also a will to post something later on..
and now, what do i have? nope. i dont have any to tell. the important ones, i mean. i do have something totell, but i think its not too worth for you to read. but, whatever. do as you pleased ^^

Now, i am in my holiday, actually. But it will end up soon, in February 9th i am leaving to Solo (City in Central Java) again. Back to Solo, back to college, back to hell? not exactly. Even Tangerang is surely enjoyable for spending days in holiday, but i get more relax while i am in Solo. Lots different in weather but also the people around (i think Solo People have a strong ability to hide their truly self and show the opposite, it's like wearing a mask or such a poker face? no idea. Like when they get mad or something they dont usually angry furiously. i mean like yelling or punching, beside they do it calmly and there's no violence. definitely no. They usually attack with such a polite gesture and calm sound, but a hard-hurting-sentence.) . The environment kinda more relaxing, tough.

well, actually i have nothing to worry about when i am in Solo. this holiday give me lot of burden. the website making, house cleaning, parents helping for their job's sake and others. i must be exhausted when holiday's end, but not really. i mean, i do have lot of fun here.
hangin out w/ my besties (but not my whole bestfriend did as they have some of -the not my bussiness'-bussines), go shopping (i did it morethan twice a week, w/ different companion),and i have collected so many movies i downloaded my self. i'll get you the list when i have more time. but most of it is my favorite which is starred of famous actor.
And i have a guest. my cousin (sameage but studying in different college) came to my house.
This kinda long story to tell. as it is midnight (00.41) i must turn off my PC and get to bed before my father notice me and get angry. so, see ya. ^.^)/
